Summary
We are looking for a Production Planning Engineer to join our dynamic operations team. This is a pivotal role that ensures the seamless coordination and efficiency of our multifaceted manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimising production schedules across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and continuously improve detailed production schedules to meet delivery targets and customer expectations.
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional departments to align resources and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- React quickly to line-stop issues and production bottlenecks, providing immediate and sustainable resolutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality deviations.
- Monitor key production KPIs and report on output, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Analyse production data to forecast demand and inform capacity planning.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at increasing productivity and reducing waste.
