Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team on a construction site in St Ives. This role involves assisting tradespeople, maintaining site cleanliness, and supporting day-to-day site operations. Ideal for someone physically fit and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting skilled tradespeople on-site (e.g., carpenters, bricklayers, electricians)

  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment

  • Preparing and cleaning job sites

  • Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as scaffolding

  • Following health and safety protocols

  • Operating hand and power tools where appropriate

  • General site clean-up and waste disposal

Requirements:

  • Previous labouring or construction site experience preferred but not essential

  • CSCS Card (preferred or required depending on site regulations)

  • Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects

  • Punctual, reliable, and a strong work ethic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Own transport desirable (depending on site location)

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (typical hours; may vary by site)

  • Overtime available depending on project deadlines
