The Role:
- Lead and manage the KS1 phase, supporting teachers and driving high standards
- Model outstanding classroom practice and mentor colleagues
- Oversee assessment, planning, and curriculum delivery across Year 1 and Year 2
- Work closely with SLT to contribute to whole-school improvement
- Champion inclusive teaching and ensure excellent outcomes for all pupils
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS and has significant experience teaching in KS1
- Demonstrates strong leadership potential or experience in a middle leadership role
- Has a deep understanding of early learning pedagogy and assessment
- Is committed to inclusive education and raising achievement for all
- Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a collaborative spirit
