The Role:

  • Lead and manage the KS1 phase, supporting teachers and driving high standards
  • Model outstanding classroom practice and mentor colleagues
  • Oversee assessment, planning, and curriculum delivery across Year 1 and Year 2
  • Work closely with SLT to contribute to whole-school improvement
  • Champion inclusive teaching and ensure excellent outcomes for all pupils

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS and has significant experience teaching in KS1
  • Demonstrates strong leadership potential or experience in a middle leadership role
  • Has a deep understanding of early learning pedagogy and assessment
  • Is committed to inclusive education and raising achievement for all
  • Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a collaborative spirit
