Contract Type: Fixed term contract until 31 August 2026.
Hours: Part-time 7.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 7:15am – 8:45am

We are looking for a passionate Breakfast Club playworker to join our supportive and talented team at Begbrook Primary Academy. We are a growing organisation, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
Your opportunity:
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of activities designed to meet the intellectual, creative, physical, emotional and social needs of the children attending play provision.
• Assist with the preparation, maintenance and storage of play provision resource
• Form proactive relationships with parents/carers keeping them informed of the student needs, targets and progress and sustaining effective relationships with the school community. Encourage parental involvement in the play provision.
• Ensure all written reports and other necessary documentation are completed in a clear, concise and timely manner.

• An understanding of the varied needs of children and families.
• Have knowledge of basic food hygiene standards.
• Patient, calm and able to work under pressure.
• Caring and understanding attitude, sensitive and responsive to the needs of children and their parents/ carers.
• Role model the positive values, attitudes and behaviour expected of students.
Begbrook Primary Academy:
Begbrook Academy is a three-form entry primary school with a pre-school, situated in Stapleton, on the outskirts of Bristol. Our school population is culturally, socially and economically diverse.
