Summary

We have a great opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual for the role of Lead Property Surveyor in the Asset & Regeneration Team.

About the role

This critical role for Karbon will be responsible for leading on the management of various property portfolios, delivering on disposal targets in respect of statutory sales, shared ownership and the delivering on an general asset disposals.

Working within our Asset and Regeneration team, you will be working with our Head of Regeneration to provide a high quality and professional surveying to the wider organisation.

An ability to build relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders is essential to the success of the role.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated, well-organised, collaborative individual with excellent communication skills with a proven track record of managing, motivating and developing teams, to deliver set objectives.

The successful candidate will be part of providing asset and property management advice across Karbon's full property portfolio, ranging from single asset options appraisals to wider asset led inventions and option appraisals across wider estate areas, whilst leading on all potential acquisitions and disposal activity.

In addition to the above, the post holder will be responsible for managing a small team, including those dealing with Right to Buy, Right to Acquire, Leasehold and Shared Ownership matters.

The post will require regular travel to support the wider team and you must be able to manage a varied and busy workload.

  • Lead Property Surveyor - fixed term maternity cover until 29 May 2026
    • Salary is £63,616 per annum plus a Karbon car payment of £2,317 per annum
      • Location: Gosforth or Stanley
        • Regular travel will be required
          • 37 hours per week with agile working
