Summary

Part Time: 10 hours per week over 5 days from Monday to Friday (Working days can be further discussed at interview; Casual hours can be added on top of the 10 hours subject to job needs).

Working Weeks: 38 weeks

The Inspiration Trust is looking for a committed sports enthusiast to support the Trust Sports Coordinator in the development and delivery of sports and enrichment across the Trust. The work will be fun, varied and exciting and will allow the postholder to gain experience and knowledge to potentially further their career in teaching/coaching or life in general.

The main responsibility of the role will be:
- To support the development and implementation of the Trust sport teams.
- To ensure efficient and effective arrangements to support the development of high-quality physical activity opportunities for students.
- To act as a basketball coach for students.
- To plan and deliver coaching sessions to the Trust basketball academy and in school.
- To facilitate pupils participating in sports to work towards achieving their full potential.
- To assist with the planning and delivery of Trust-wide sporting events

The ideal candidate will have:
- Sports coaching experience from one, or a range of, sports would be desirable.
- Basketball England - Coach Level 2 would be ideal.
- Valid driving license for minibus would be desirable.
- Good ICT skills.
- Experience of planning and delivery of sport sessions to 4-19 age range would be desirable.
- Experience of developing coaching programmes would be ideal.
