Summary


London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced EBME Operational Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the EBME department. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the maintenance, repair, and lifecycle management of medical equipment across the Trust, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations. You will oversee a team of skilled professionals, provide expert guidance on medical technology, and work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to support safe and efficient patient care.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in medical engineering, proven leadership experience, and a proactive approach to operational management. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on healthcare delivery within one of London’s leading NHS Trusts

• Manage the EBME team, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and procurement of medical equipment.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support service delivery.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in medical engineering or EBME.
• Strong leadership and operational management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of medical equipment standards and regulations.

This role will be expected to deputise for the Head of EBME at a level which represents the division from both a professional and strategic standing
