As a Hospitality Food Host with ISS UK, you will be an ambassador for both ISS and our clients. The role of a Host is a key responsibility, and this is why we seek and develop unique individuals to lead the way, enabling you to be at the forefront of creating an exceptional experience for all who visit the workplace.
Being an experienced Host is all about exhibiting your knowledge and skills by delivering live experiences and demonstrations in front of our customers.
You will engage with our customers through conversation as you set up and prepare live food and drink experiences around the campus for them to enjoy. Your role will see you be part mixologist, barista, pop-up server, room host, and so much more! You are as passionate about the service and experiences that you deliver as you are about awesome food and drink.
The Role
Create a positive experience for guests and colleagues and provide amazing customer service at all times
Be an exceptional spokesperson and engage with your guests' queries about the site and operations
Build your knowledge of your environment and promote the various destinations, food services, and activities
Take opportunities to foster relationships and build rapport with guests and colleagues
Ensure the food and drink offer is the first choice for our customers when they are seeking refreshment and fuel
Receive, process, prepare, and deliver food and drink orders and experiences
Keep the service and back-of-house areas in a clean, organised, and safe condition
About You
You have fantastic customer service skills and you’re ready to take it to the next level
You have a social and welcoming personality and can engage with everyone professionally
You’re a team player but can confidently work independently
You consider others and have the drive to help wherever you can
Have experience working with relevant systems (e.g., MS Office)
