Summary
Here is a rare opportunity to join a highly skilled and stable team of assistants to medicolegal experts. You will liaise with solicitor clients and patients; summarise medical records; undertake desktop research; and assist the experts with every stage of long complex report writing and costing.
You will need to type and audio type accurately and quickly using Microsoft Office 365; have a high standard of written English and competent basic numeracy skills. You will enjoy working with detail; be committed to constant learning; and love working within a team. You will be responsible for your own time management; hit deadlines consistently; and be a great communicator.
Established in 2006, the company offers home working (hardware and software provided) and is based in IP14; flexible fulltime or part-time hours; competitive pay and conditions; and the support to learn and grow in the role. Full training and support will be provided, which may involve some local travel. Prior experience as a medical or legal secretary is not essential but a positive can do attitude and the behaviours to promote good teamship really matter.
You need to be reliable, hardworking and understand the duty of confidentiality. This is a permanent role and not suitable for someone seeking a short term contract as it takes a good while to become competent.
