Summary
3.5T Van Driver
Location: Southampton, SO30 2PA
Salary: £28,742 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday - Friday, 5am-6am start - 4pm finish
You will be responsible for collecting documents from customer sites and transporting them securely for destruction. Working solo or with a driver’s assistant, you’ll enjoy interacting with your customers and delivering great customer service.
The role provides a friendly working environment working with a supportive team, job security and opportunities for training and career development in the longer term.
Key Responsibilities
Loading and unloading your vehicle at customer sites and our depot
Collecting confidential information and materials
Driving one of our well-maintained vans, ensuring material is safe and secure
Ensuring excellent customer service and building relationships
Communicate proactively with the depot's admin team and transport planning team
Carrying out daily vehicle inspections
About You
Full clean UK driving licence
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills
Happy with manual labour
