Summary
Job Title: E&I Installation Site Supervisor (Working Supervisor)
Location: UK-wide travel (Monday–Friday)
Hours: Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week (basic)
Contract Type: Perm
Hourly Rate: £22.90 (Home Rate) / £24.91 (Away Rate) – overtime available
On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced and hands-on E&I Installation Site Supervisor to manage and deliver high-quality electrical and instrumentation installations across various client sites throughout the UK. This is a working supervisor role, requiring frequent travel and overnight stays. The role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, with long-term potential for the right candidate.
E&I Installation Site Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and participate in the installation of E&I systems on client sites
• Lead and coordinate team members and subcontractors to maintain safety and quality
• Conduct CompEx inspections and final sign-off for hazardous areas
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and complete all required documentation
• Deliver projects to tight deadlines and ensure commissioning paperwork is completed
• Maintain high safety standards and quality assurance throughout the project
E&I Installation Site Supervisor Essential Requirements:
• Qualified Electrician (C&G, Apprenticeship, AM2 or equivalent)
• C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or equivalent
• CCNSG Safety Passport
• SHEA Gas
• SCO 1 & 2
• TEM 2, 3 & 4
• COMPEX certification
• Experience in a working supervisor role managing small teams
E&I Installation Site Supervisor Desirable Attributes:
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with clients
• Good knowledge of E&I drawings and systems
• Willingness to travel and stay away as required
• Proactive and reliable team player
• Awareness of Health & Safety and CDM site regulations
