Summary

Can you help us navigate our course to an even stronger financial future as Assistant Management Accountant (fixed term 9-12 months)

As a finance professional working towards recognised qualifications, you’ll be crucial in keeping us on course, monitoring the financial climate, working to keep us steady whatever the weather.

As part of the Futures fleet, you’ll work collaboratively using your technical skills, and your com’s abilities will shine through as you circumnavigate the business gaining respect from all levels of our fleet and external partners.

A few key points from our role profile:

Work with the management accountant to close-down the ledgers and prepare accruals and prepayments, assisting with monthly management accounts reports and consolidation process, both at each month end and annually at year end
Liaise with both external and internal auditors, resolving queries and actioning process improvements.

Provide commentary on actual to budget and forecast variances at regular monthly intervals. Prepare detailed budget monitoring reports and hold meetings with several key budget holders, both at budget preparation time and regularly throughout the financial year.
