Summary

About the role:

We are seeking a calm and organised individual that has the core values of meeting the young persons needs and assisting in developing a exciting new team within a Therapeutic children’s home. A minimum of a level 3 in Health and Social Care with young people or other relevant qualification according to social care Wales.

What you will do:

You will work on a night shift rota to provide continuous care as part of team to the children and young people living in the home.
You will build positive relationships through nurture, teaching connection before correction with a patient and calm manner.
You will promote healthy and safe routines by creating a warm, inclusive home supporting the day care team through continuity and structure within the home at the start and end of each day.
Work in partnership with families and carers of young people in achieving the aims and objectives of the young people’s plans.
You will follow agreed policies, procedures, and legislative standards in your work. Always striving to keep up to date with best practice.

This position has a requirement for an enhanced DBS check
