Hygiene Operative – Retail Environment (Hyde Shopping Centre)
Location: Hyde
Hours: Initially zero hour contract
Pay: From £12.25 per hour
Contract: Permanent zero hours contract

Shift Schedule
Shifts are issued on weekly/monthly basis, along with holiday cover and short notice sickness cover

• Previous cleaning experience essential (retail experience preferred)
• Strong customer service skills – you’ll be interacting with shoppers regularly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Punctual, professional appearance and attitude
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends

Role Overview:
As a Hygiene Operative, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of communal mall areas to the highest standards. You'll take pride in your work, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for both customers and staff.
Your duties will include:
• Cleaning public and communal areas regularly throughout the day
• Responding to cleanliness or hygiene concerns quickly and efficiently
• Supporting the wider facilities team as needed
• Upholding health & safety procedures
You’ll be a vital part of the overall customer experience, so a positive, helpful attitude is essential.
