Summary

Sunderland Council are going through a positive period of development and transformation, whilst the city itself is undergoing large scale regeneration and development.andnbsp; Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the following post within the Economy andamp; Place Directorate.

The Network, Parking and Road Safety team requires a suitably qualified Technician to assist in the investigation, evaluation and delivery of a range of projects and requests within the Traffic Projects team.

andnbsp;

Applicants must be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to working arrangements and will have suitable experience and operational knowledge.

andnbsp;

The main areas of responsibilities of the post include:

Assist in the design and development of projects in the Traffic Projects team within the Network, Parking and Road Safety service.
To produce drawings, contract documents, letters and other documentation relating to specific schemes
To demonstrate, or develop, a good understanding of key construction guidance and regulations e.g. CDM, DMRB, TSRGDandnbsp;
