Summary

Working hours: Minimum of 35 hours per week (working a minimum of 40% across each month at our London Headquarters) Interview Date: 21st August 2025The Salvation Army is 160 years old this year and remains the most inspiring and best-known organisations in the sector. We are looking for an In Memory Fundraising Manager to grow this important income stream, currently £600,000 a year. Significant investment is being made in the legacy and in memory programme which is achieving great success from their acquisition campaigns and improved supporter stewardship. The team is growing, was recently shortlisted at the Smee and Ford Legacy Giving Awards and has ambitious plans. As In Memory Fundraising Manager you will be a subject matter expert responsible for all aspects of the In Memory fundraising programme and budget, including marketing campaigns, stewardship and new product development. You will work across teams to promote In Memory giving, supervise work carried out by the Legacy and In Memory Executive and use your creative, analytical and negotiation skills to provide exceptional supporter care and increase the number of donors giving in memory.To be successful in this role you will have: Significant experience of developing and project managing In Memory fundraising campaigns, with a sensitivity towards donor motivations.Good experience of delivering campaigns across multiple channels, managing budgets, and achieving targets.Proven successful strong experience of working with and managing external suppliers.This is an exciting time to join The Salvation Army as we look to invest in all aspects of fundraising and marketing.
