Person specification Criteria Essential Desirable Qualifications Registered General Nurse at degree level Registered mentor Degree modules specific to discharge, transfer of care, long term conditions, emergency care DN degree Nurse prescriber Experience At least 2 years as a registered nurse Previous experience in A&E or community nursing Special knowledge / expertise Demonstrate a working knowledge of national policy drivers and quality standards relating to discharge and Emergency department redesigns Awareness of ECIP publications, DTOCC Disposition, adjustment, attitude and commitment willingness to work unsocial hours occasionally Flexibility and adaptability to change. Team player Role model Previous experience of staff management Practical / intellectual skills Extensive clinical and management experience. The ability to communicate and lead.
