Summary
You will be supported in your role by the North Somerset Area Site Coordinator, and passionate and friendly colleagues both in support services and the wider Facilities Management team. The post holder will be part of the reception team based at the Coast Resource Centre in Worle, Weston Super Mare, and will act as the first point of contact over the telephone for callers looking to reach the clinical teams based on site. The call handler will transfer callers to the appropriate staff members, take accurate messages, and provide information to callers and staff. The post holder will also provide cover for the reception desk, greeting visitors face to face and supporting with administrative tasks. The role will include use of bespoke IT systems including telephony software. In this role, the post holder will be speaking to service users, healthcare professionals, external agencies, emergency services, members of the public and more. Training will be provided in respect of the role.
