Summary
We're looking for a Multi Skilled Road Surfacing Operative to join our clients friendly Scottish Contracting team. Our clients crews operate mainly across the central belt, South East, and South West of Scotland.

Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll be part of a multi-skilled team laying coated materials in the construction sector. Your duties will include:
Operating surfacing plant (e.g. paver, rollers, tractor, chipper)
Handling hot coated materials on site
Laying materials to specification and BS tolerances
Performing daily plant maintenance and ensuring site cleanliness
Promoting a culture of safety and zero harm
Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards and encouraging others to do the same
Ideal Candidate
You'll have proven experience in road surfacing, particularly on highways, motorways, airfields, or A roads. You should also:
Hold a CSCS card (preferred)
Have experience with asphalt and road laying
Be qualified to operate surfacing machinery with valid plant tickets
Ideally have experience on motorway projects
Be a strong team player with good communication skills
Be self-motivated and proactive
