About Us
Search Recruitment are currently looking for Painter and Decorators to take on work in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high standards of painting and decorating work across a variety of projects, including private homes, offices, and renovation sites. Attention to detail, professionalism, and punctuality are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Surface preparation (sanding, filling, priming)
- Interior and exterior painting
- Wallpaper hanging (desirable but not essential)
- Working independently or as part of a team
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Communicating clearly with clients and colleagues
Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter and decorator (minimum 2 years)
- Own tools and transport (preferred but not essential)
- Valid CSCS card (desirable)
- Reliable, hardworking, and trustworthy
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
