We're working with an established and forward-thinking manufacturer of liquid storage systems to recruit an experienced Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven professional to take ownership of end-to-end operations and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.

The Opportunity
As Operations Manager, you'll lead across production, procurement, logistics, and SHEQ, with a clear mandate to improve efficiency, embed lean practices, and support automation initiatives. You'll work closely with senior leadership to align operations with commercial goals and customer expectations.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys leading change, and has a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver an operations roadmap focused on efficiency, automation, and cost optimisation.
* Oversee production planning, factory layout, and resource allocation to maximise output and quality.
* Drive procurement and logistics strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery.
* Champion SHEQ compliance and foster a safety-first culture.
* Lead and develop a high-performing team, embedding a culture of accountability and innovation.

What They're Looking For
* Proven experience in operations management within a manufacturing environment (5+ years preferred).
* Strong background in production planning, supply chain, procurement, and logistics.
* Experience implementing lean manufacturing and automation strategies.
* ERP knowledge (SAP Business One preferred).
* Familiarity with ISO 9001 & 14001 standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
