Summary
This exciting role is within the East Kent Cardiac Catheter Suite, at the William Harvey Hospital, the 5th busiest PCI centre in the UK. We require a dynamic team member to join us in delivering excellent care to our patients of East Kent and our PPCI patients from Kent. We provide elective, in patient and emergency care for PPCI, PCI, Brady pacing , Complex pacing and Electrophysiology assessment and treatment.
The applicant will be responsible for admitting and facilitating discharge of patients. They will be a circulating nurse within the lab and a scrub nurse for elective, in patient and emergency care for PPCI, PCI, Brady pacing , Complex pacing and Electrophysiology assessment and treatment. The successful applicant will join the PPCI on call roster. Please be aware that lead suits are worn frequently (approx. 8 KG in weight) and are an integral part of this role. Good IT and communication skills are required and the ability to work within a team and with out supervision.
