PS Connect (Helpdesk)


This new part-time (0.4FTE) post is available immediately on a permanent basis.


The hours for this role will be worked on a Friday and either Monday or Thursday (to be confirmed prior to the start date).


This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.


Summary of the role


We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Finance Helpdesk Administrator within PS Connect to join our small, close-knit friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering finance service queries for both staff and students within the university.


The Finance Helpdesk provides front-line support, advice, training and technical assistance to service users across the University on a variety of finance services and processes. It has a wide remit which helps colleagues and students to procure goods and services, raise invoices, claim expenses, access budgets and much more.


Initial training for this role will take place on campus and once trained, the role can be carried out primarily working from home with regular days on campus each week as advised by the line manager.


Great customer service skills are essential for this role and the post holder will need to be personable, helpful, knowledgeable and articulate.
