Summary
A Full-time Nanny-Housekeeper is sought by a lovely family based in Watford, Hertfordshire, to support with household duties and care for their baby and school-aged child. The ideal candidate will be confident in all areas of childcare, enjoy engaging with children of various ages, and have a proactive, hands-on attitude in the home. The role includes sole charge of the baby and school pick-up responsibilities for the older child. The family would greatly appreciate help with the general upkeep and organisation of the household to ensure smooth day-to-day running. The nanny-housekeeper should also be comfortable travelling abroad with the family. A driver with a full UK driving licence would be a bonus, but not essential. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week
Duties include:
Sterilising bottles
Changing nappies
Supporting the baby’s developmental milestones
Taking the children to the park and on walks
Organising music classes
Attending baby groups with the little one
Assisting older children with homework
Engaging in play with the children
Keeping bedrooms tidy
Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming floors
Loading the dishwasher / washing up
Dusting furniture
Freshening up the rooms
