We care
That’s why we need people like you who care about your colleagues and customers, as well as our business and the environment!
We are looking for a Waste FMAP/PMAP Supervisor to join our team, working in partnership with Scottish Water, to lead our wastewater operations, including CCTV surveys, repairs, and maintenance on the sewer network.
In this role, you will manage operational teams carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality and compliance.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…
- Leading a team delivering planned and reactive wastewater works, including CCTV inspections, cleaning, and repairs across the wastewater network.
- Planning, supervising, and coordinating daily site activities while ensuring effective utilisation of plant, labour, and materials.
- Ensuring work complies with Scottish Water specifications, health, safety, environmental, and water quality standards.
- Providing training, mentoring, and daily support to your team to ensure they work safely and effectively while developing their skills.
- Promoting a right first time, zero harm safety culture while driving continuous improvement and sharing best practice.
- Engaging with customers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Completing required administration and site documentation accurately and on time.
- Identifying opportunities to improve site delivery, customer satisfaction, and safety.
We would love to hear from you if…
You have previous experience supervising wastewater operations with a strong background in CCTV inspections on sewer networks. You will bring excellent organisational skills and a proven track record of delivering work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
You will demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills and have good computer literacy across MS Office applications for reporting and planning work. A valid CSCS card, NRSWA Supervisor, and confined space training are desirable. A full and valid UK driving licence is essential for this role due to site travel requirements.
