Summary

Job Title: Electrician - AWP09 Authorised (Live Panel Work)

Location: Glasgow (G81)

Rate: £30.00 per hour (Outside IR35 - Ltd Company or CIS)

Duration: 6- 8 weeks potentially longer

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 45 per week (Mon-Thurs: 10 hrs/day, Fri: 5 hrs - early finish)

Overview:

We are recruiting for 2 x Electricians to support ongoing works on a major infrastructure project in the Glasgow area. The role involves completing electrical works within live panels in a high-voltage substation environment.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installation and terminations in live panels
• Adhere strictly to live working safety protocols (AWP09 required)
• Interpret and work from detailed drawings and technical specs
• Communicate effectively with project supervisors and engineers
• Ensure a high standard of workmanship and site safety

Requirements:

• Valid AWP09 (Live Working in Panels) certification - Essential
• Experience on high-voltage substation or transmission projects
• ECS/JIB Gold Card preferred
