Summary
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and engineering colleagues to finalise migration readiness plans, including hardware assessments and upgrade paths. Coordinate pilot testing and staged rollout of Windows 11 across DHUs estate, ensuring scalability and minimal service interruption. Attend all Windows 11 related project meetings and collaborate with project managers, the service providers and other technical leads Develop and maintain a comprehensive migration checklist including backup procedures, deployment sequences, rollback protocols, and compliance checks. Ensure software and application compatibility through rigorous testing and vendor engagement. Provide 3rd line escalation support during migration phases, resolving platform-specific issues swiftly and in line with service management principles. Monitor post-migration device health and performance, leveraging analytics to inform ongoing optimisation and support. Monitor and report migration progress per site or as requested, using documentation, dashboards and field input to track coverage, gaps, and performance impact. Capture feedback from call centre agents regarding usability, accessibility, and workflow alignment post-migration. Support the deployment and configuration of a range of layer 2 and layer 3 network elements such as routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs
