Southall: Nursery Practitioner role with immediate start
We are looking for a caring and hardworking Nursery Practitioner to join the team at this welcoming and inclusive nursery located in Southall, West London.
This is a lovely nursery, with a very supportive management team and friendly staff who will welcome you into the family-feel community! Working closely with the passionate team of staff who are dedicated to Early Years, you should share that same passion, dedication and knowledge of EYFS. Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:
• Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration
• Assisting with the development of early maths skills
• Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
• Providing a stimulating, supportive and safe environment that allows children to grow and learn
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting the nursery management team
• Observing and assessing children's progress and development
This is a permanent position for the successful Nursery Practitioner to work full time (Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week), with a salary starting at £26k to £30k per annum. It is essential that you hold a qualification in Early Years or Childcare, and previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is important.
