Join the Team atElanco – Hard Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organisedand proactiveHardServices Coordinatorto join ourteam at theElanco site in Speke. This role involves coordinating hardfacilities management (FM) services, ensuring compliance with statutoryregulations, and supporting the delivery of planned and reactive maintenanceactivities. You will act as a key point of contact for contractors, managehelpdesk queries, and support site operations to ensure a safe and efficientworking environment.

What you'll do:

  • Work Order & Maintenance Management: Oversee the scheduling, planning, and execution of planned/reactive maintenance via CMMS; manage work orders, asset data input, and ensure timely resolution of client requests.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities align with SOPs, HS&E, GMP, and permit-to-work processes; review and approve risk assessments, method statements, and ensure safe execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Client & Contractor Coordination: Liaise with clients and contractors to plan and deliver services, manage contractor activities, obtain quotes, and support service delivery to meet SLAs.
  • Financial & Performance Oversight: Demonstrate strong financial control, raise purchase requisitions, manage project notes/logs, and ensure effective performance tracking and reporting.
  • Project & Improvement Delivery: Manage and deliver small projects and site improvement plans, including refurbishments, ensuring alignment with operational and client needs.
  • Reporting & Communication: Attend and lead engineering huddles, produce KPI and management reports, support helpdesk functions, and participate in meetings to ensure service excellence.

What you'llbring:

  • Proven experience coordinating hard FM services (e.g., M&E, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fabric maintenance), with strong knowledge of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
  • Experience managing hard services contractors and ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, statutory regulations, and health & safety standards.
  • Minimum GCSE education with experience in administration and helpdesk duties, including query escalation.
  • Excellent IT skills and confidence in using various systems and platforms, including CAFM systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, prioritise tasks, and manage time efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and open to learning, willing to undertake training to address skills gaps, with an awareness of GxP standards.

DesirableQualifications & Experience:

  • IOSH or NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety(or willingness to work towards).
  • PRINCE2 qualification(or equivalent project management certification) desirable
