Summary
Temporary full time to cover long term sickness
Hours: 35 hours, full days between the hours of 7am and 6pm
Rate: £12.97 per hour weekdays, £15.33 per hour weekends, double time bank holidays.

Driver Essential
We are excited to be able to recruit a personal assistant to provide care and support for our 15-year-old daughter with complex care needs in the Ponteland area.
The successful candidate will work as part of a small, friendly, professional team and will involve all aspects of care, including providing ongoing therapy (as instructed by the treating professionals), offering Molly an excellent care support package aimed at maximising her potential in all aspects of life.
Reporting to the Team Leader, senior support worker and working with the client’s family, you will ensure high quality care and effective communication is maintained across in a wide variety of environments and situations.
You will be required to provide care based on a flexible rota, but where commitment is essential. Daily school runs will be required during term time.
Full training will be given, along with access to a range of independent therapists and community support staff, to ensure that all team members have the full training they require to work towards common goals and to assist in both the client’s and your own personal development. This role calls for an individual who can act on their own initiative and work as part of a team. A clean driving licence is essential as you will be asked to drive family vehicles.
Desirable: Experience preferred of at least 2 years
