Domiciliary Care Manager – Client Services | Up to £32,000 | Mon–Fri + Paid On-Call

Our client, a values-led domiciliary care provider in the East Cheshire area, is looking for a Domiciliary Care Manager to help lead a compassionate and professional team. In this role you will oversee the entire client journey — from welcoming new clients into the service to ensuring that ongoing care is consistently high-quality, personalised, and responsive to changing needs. Who They’re Looking For

This role would suit someone who is confident, organised, and genuinely passionate about delivering exceptional domiciliary care. To be successful, candidates must have:

  • Level 5 Health and Social Care
  • Experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a domiciliary care service
  • Strong knowledge of care planning, audits, and person-centred approaches
  • A natural ability to lead and motivate a team with empathy and integrity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good working knowledge of care-related software and digital record-keeping
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring person-centred, high-quality care and support.
  • Leading and supporting the Care Quality Team, including supervision, appraisals, and professional development.
  • Carrying out client assessments, onboarding, and paperwork with compassion and professionalism.
  • Auditing and updating care plans, medication records (MARS), and digital systems.
  • Maintaining accurate and compliant client records using software such as Home Instead and People Planner.
  • Conducting client reviews, support visits, and staff competency checks.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Deputising for the Registered Care Manager when needed.
