JOB TITLE: EQUINE GROOM AND STUDENT SUPERVISORLOCATION: CAMBRIDGEHOURS: 37 PER WEEK (ACROSS SUNDAY TO THURSDAY)SALARY: £24,092 - £24,292 PER ANNUM A full time Equine Groom is required to join the existing team at the College’s equestrian centre. You will be responsible for the day to day care of the horses stabled at the College. You will carry out daily yard tasks to a high standard, while also assisting with exercising the horses, (ridden/non-ridden). You will supervise student activity on the college yard and demonstrate sound equine skills and provide support to the students who are training. This role is required to work one weekend day and three weekdays.You will have a minimum of a level 2 qualification in equine (Level 3 preferred), proven experience of working in the industry and strong health and safety awareness. A full driving licence is essential for this role. You will have a First Aid certificate and Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE A*-C/9-4) or equivalent or be willing to obtain.We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England.
