Summary
A family residing in Uxbridge, London is looking for a part-time nanny to care for their toddler. They’re hoping to find someone nurturing, proactive, and confident in managing all typical childcare responsibilities, including engaging play, supporting the child’s social development, and spending quality one-on-one time together.
Since the mum works from home, the ideal candidate will feel comfortable working alongside her and taking a team-oriented approach as needed. Working hours: Flexible days for 15 hours per week on a flexible schedule. Potential hour increase in 6 months. They are also open to weekend working.
Duties include:
Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
Maintain proper hygiene
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children, mostly heating up prepped food already made
Light housekeeping related to the child
A driver with a full licence would be a bonus. They are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. While they are very flexible with hours and arrangements, the ideal candidate must live locally, as this is a live-out role.
