Salary:Grade 2 Scale Point 4 (£14 per hour including holiday pay)
Reports to:Headteacher
The Ladder School are recruiting for a Passenger Assistant to commence from September. This is a casual position where the successful applicants will be transporting students to and from placements.
Hours of work will vary depending on the need of each day but regular days will be approx. 8:45am – 10:15am & 1:30pm – 3pm.
Duties will include:
• Working alongside the driver to ensure the safety of the student at all times
• Ensuring the safety checks on the vehicle have been completed
• Counted students onto and off the mini bus at the start and end of each journey
• Safeguarding the students and reporting any concerns
