Summary

Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch break)
Location: Outskirts of Canterbury

  • Immediate start
  • Due to the site location you will need drive and have your own transport

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join our busy warehouse team. This role involves a mix of forklift operation and manual handling duties, supporting both incoming and outgoing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Forklift as part of daily warehouse duties

  • Assist with unloading deliveries, including climbing into box lorries and using strops to manually pull out cabinets/units (Forklift cannot be used for these items)

  • Safely handle and store incoming stock - some items are up to 12ft (2.2m) in length and are stored at ground level (no racking)

  • Pick and prepare outgoing orders from picking lists - volume can vary from 1 to 7 jobs per day

  • Load goods onto outgoing lorries upon collection

Requirements:

  • Valid counterbalance Forklift licence

  • Comfortable with manual handling

  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow picking lists

  • Physically fit and able to handle large and heavy items safely

  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
