To help realise this vision we are looking for an Attendance Manager to join our friendly attendance team.
About the Role
The Attendance Manger is a crucial role where you will liaise with a range of internal and external people and families.
You will lead the attendance team and will be focused on supporting young people and their families to positively engage with the Academy through the implementation of our Attendance Strategy. It is essential and invaluable work which underpins our commitment to providing exceptional education to our communities and improving the life chances and opportunities of the young people within them.
What are we looking for?
Attention to detail and excellent administration skills are a must, as is the highest level of professionalism to support the Attendance strategy for driving students’ attendance.
Candidates should be exceptionally organised and have outstanding communication skills. You will need to demonstrate strong administrative, communication, and IT abilities. Working under pressure effectively, professionally, and with composure is crucial.
The post holder will:
Foster a culture of excellent attendance and punctuality
Encourage students to reach their best academic potential
Build solid relationships with parents and caregivers.
You will be working with a supportive and dedicated team of staff who believe all students deserve our full support to achieve their very best. We have a strong programme of staff development and opportunities to work with a wide variety of professionals in the academy, local community, and wider Trust.

Recruitment Timeline:

Working Hours & Salary:
The post is term time only with an additional one week to be worked in Academy closure periods. Meaning the postholder is required to work and will be paid 39 weeks (plus prorated holiday) per year.
Hours: 37 hours per week. 8am-4pm
Salary: SCP 22-26 £32,654 - £36,124 full time equivalent (£28,807 - £31,868 actual salary)
Current NJC scale point and experience will be taken into consideration when determining starting salary.
