Summary
About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor from a sub-contractor background to join a growing specialist dry-lining contractor working alongside Tier 1 businesses throughout London. Initially responsible for 2 projects with values of £5 million and £10 million respectively. Experience with dry-lining packages, as well as JCT and NEC contracts is ideal.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
- Pricing and managing change/variations.
- Site Meetings and responsible for the day-to-day operations running smoothly.
- Working through from first stage tender process, all the way through to completion and final accounts.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
- 3+ year's experience within a construction quantity surveying position at a sub-contractor.
- Experience as a site No.1.
- JCT and NEC contract experience.
- Ideally experience managing dry-lining packages.
- Quantity surveying degree or a similar construction-based qualification.
- Good communication and inter-personal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with co-workers and management.
