Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in the NR12 area.

This is a temp to perm position offering the chance to transition into a permanent role after a successful temp period.

As an Assembly Operative, you will work within a factory environment, performing various assembly tasks and using hand tools to create high-quality products. This role involves manual handling and machine operation, so you’ll need to be physically fit and comfortable with the demands of the position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pushing panels through machines to apply a finished edge

  
  

• Cutting plywood frames on a beam saw

  
  

• Assembling plywood frames using handheld tools

  
  

• Using tools to assemble and finish products to specification

  
  

• Ensuring your work area is kept clean and organized at all times

  
  

• Carrying out manual handling tasks as required

  
  

• Supporting the team with additional duties as needed

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Proven experience in assembly or manufacturing (including experience with hand tools)

    
    

  • Comfortable using hand tools such as saws, drills, and other power tools

    
    

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, factory-based environment

    
    

  • capable of manual handling and repetitive tasks

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control

    
    

  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

    
    

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
