Summary

This role involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing a wide range ofmedical devices and equipmentacross multiple Trust sites—so a valid driving license and willingness to travel are required.

• Excellent communication skills with clinical and operational stakeholders
• Experience or training in working with medical equipment (desired)

Key Responsibilities:
• Conductplanned preventative maintenance (PPM),servicing, andrepairson critical medical equipment.
• Investigate and resolvefaults on complex medical devices, ensuring they are safe and effective.
• Communicate withclinical staff,operational teams, andresponder groupsto understand and assess device issues.
• Support assurance of correctdiagnosisandtreatmentthrough reliable equipment performance.

Types of Equipment You’ll Work On:
• Airway management devices
• Medical gas systems
• Patient lifting equipment
• Patient monitoring systems

Corporate Induction

It’s really important for us to ensure you have the best onboarding experience which allows you to feel a sense of belonging from the start. To help with this, we will book your Corporate Induction as soon as we possibly can (depending on availability).

All new starters need to attend our *Corporate Induction in person, this is held over one and half days from our educational centres based in: Newbury (Berkshire), Bicester (Oxfordshire) or Whiteley (Hampshire). More specific details will be sent to you once your start date has been confirmed.

*Please note – depending on your role additional training may be required following on from your corporate induction.

Responsible for contributing to the efficient running of the Planned Preventative Using technical knowledge through formal, internal/external training & experience to carry out function, calibration, quality control, safety, acceptance-testing including advice on equipment specification and evaluation of medical devices used for patient care. Ensure exceptional levels of accuracy when undertaking calibration to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatments plans.
