Summary

Would you like to join a dynamic and strategically important team at the first Specialist University of the Year (2024)? We are recruiting for a full-time Wellbeing Services Manager, reporting to the Head of Student Services. The postholder will be a key manager within Student Services with responsibility for the operational delivery and developmental work of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Team, a multi-disciplinary team of clinical professionals. The postholder will also have university-level responsibilities as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and as the operational lead for the Mental Health and Suicide Safer Strategies. The postholder will also represent the University at external fora and working groups relating to student mental health and wellbeing.

We are looking for a natural leader who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with young people and has a thorough understanding of mental health and wellbeing difficulties in this age group. No two days are the same in the Student Services department so flexibility and enthusiasm are a must along with being a team player.

As a student supporting role, this job is primarily based on site with some occasional remote working possible dependant on needs of the service.
