Contract Length: Initial 4 weeks, with potential to become permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week (overtime available)
Start Date: ASAP (subject to clearance status)
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting 1–2 experienced Thermal Insulators for a project in Barrow-in-Furness, starting as soon as possible.
Candidates with valid SC clearance can start immediately. For those without clearance, we can arrange escorted access, which may take approximately 2 weeks.
This role is initially for 4 weeks, with the potential to lead to a permanent position, subject to performance and project needs.
Essential Requirements:
Valid TICA Card (Thermal Insulation Contractors Association)
UK Citizenship (due to security clearance requirements)
Ability to provide an up-to-date passport
Willingness to undergo or already hold SC clearance
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:45
Friday: 07:00 – 12:00
38 hours per week, with potential overtime
Pay (PAYE only):
Basic Rate: £17.74 + £1.40 per hour
Overtime 1 (OT1): £26.61 + £1.60 per hour
Overtime 2 (OT2): £35.48 + £1.80 per hour
Night Shift: £26.61 + £1.60 per hour
Tool Allowance: £4.25 per week
Lodging Allowance: £47.80 per day
Travel: Open return off-peak rail ticket every 4 weeks (if eligible)
