Summary
Recruitment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Cook to join a friendly and well-established setting in Wanstead, East London. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a great work-life balance with no evenings or weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals for children and staff
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment at all times
• Develop menus that cater to dietary needs and nutritional guidelines
• Manage stock, ordering, and kitchen supplies efficiently
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety regulations
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience as a cook or chef (ideally within a nursery or school setting, though other sectors will be considered)
• NVQ qualification in Cookery or a related field
• Valid and up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate
• Reliable, organised, and passionate about healthy cooking
