The Role:

As our new Service Manager (Children’s), you’ll be at the forefront of our children’s services, leading a committed team to deliver innovative and person-centred activities. You’ll ensure high-quality support, champion safeguarding, manage staff and budgets, and work closely with families and external partners to make a real difference in young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multiple children’s service projects.

Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the children’s team.

Drive person-centred planning and quality outcomes for children with learning disabilities.

Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance.

Maintain high standards of compliance, record-keeping, and reporting.

Collaborate with families, professionals, and external partners.

Develop new service opportunities to meet community needs.

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience in managing services for children or similar settings
✅ Understanding of learning disabilities and person-centred support
✅ Excellent planning, communication, and team leadership skills
✅ A proactive, compassionate, and organised approach
✅ Relevant management qualification (or willingness to work towards)
✅ GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
