Summary

We have a fantastic development opportunity for an Apprentice Electrician to join our Electrical Services team at the University of Bath.

About the role

The University employs many apprentices, including several in the maintenance teams and a current electrical apprentice.

You must have 5 GCSE passes (or predicted), be enthusiastic about developing your skills and be able to show how you have put that interest to practical use.

You will work towards a level 3 apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance with Wiltshire College while learning to install, maintain and repair a wide variety of electrical building services, plant and equipment, giving you the skills and knowledge to develop and succeed as a fully trained Electrician.

We expect that the apprenticeship will last for up to 4 years, after which there will be the opportunity to be considered for a permanent role.

Further information

The Electrical Services team are a part of the Department of Campus Infrastructure, which is responsible for the development, upkeep and management of all the University's land and buildings. Their upkeep and a commitment to sustainability is a vital part of the University of Bath’s reputation for exceptional student experience.

For an informal discussion about the role please contact Ian Clark, Assistant Electrical Supervisor at adsic@bath.ac.uk.
