Summary
This is a part-time job, fixed term for 1 year, for which funding is available, equivalent to 0.05 WTE/1PA/4hours per week. Working with the NLCODN Network Manager and Project Management team, the Deputy Clinical Director will support the Clinical Director in providing professional and clinical leadership across the NLCODN and provide strategic guidance: To ensure governance and strategic oversight to the NLCODN. To ensure equity of access, quality and experience across the region. that ensures equitable access to services, improves the quality of care and manage patient flows across the network.The post-holder will promote and support provider partnership working for patient benefit throughout the NLCODN, facilitating the resolution of differing views and approaches. The post holder will support the network to work closely with the Integrated Care Boards in the development and delivery of the NLCODN annual plan with clear objectives and milestones. The post holder will be the Deputy Chair of the NLCODN steering group and attend the bi-monthly London Cardiac Networks meeting. The post-holder supports the Clinical Director, leading on clinical governance, ensuring a comprehensive approach across the NLCODN including quality improvement and outcomes and adherence to local and national advice, guidelines, recommendations, audits, and standards. This will include the post holder supporting the Clinical Director and Network Manager at key review meetings with the Cardiac Transformation Programme and NHS England.
