Lord Hardy Court Residential Home

Several Casual Care Assistants are required at the above home on a casual basis.

Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, a Learning Disability including Dementia. And joint working with NHS to provide services to the community.

Casual Care staff are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets Fundamental Standards of Health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles

Casual Care Staff are also expected to contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible to all customer needs.

Applicants ideally need experience in a social care setting. And have Level 1 or Direct Care NVQ or equivalent though training is available in- house and through the councils’ own programmes.

Lord Hardy Court operates a shift system on a rota basis, this includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required up to 37 hours for leave and sickness.
