A leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry, is seeking a talented and experienced AG ME Technical Shopfloor Support professional to join their team. As the AG ME Technical Shopfloor Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production team and contributing to the company's operational excellence.
In this dynamic role, the AG ME Technical Shopfloor Support will be responsible for:
- Accompanying the production team and providing technical support to identify, analyse, and solve issues on the shop floor
- Offering an end-to-end perspective and contributing to the continuous improvement of operational processes
- Supporting the identification and resolution of non-conformances on the shop floor
- Ensuring customer focus and product safety throughout the production process
To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will possess:
- HNC qualification or equivalent, with a strong background in manufacturing engineering
- Proven experience working to regulatory requirements and constraints
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Autonomy, adaptability, and proactivity to thrive in a dynamic environment
- A commitment to continuous improvement and customer-focused delivery
This company offers a competitive salary of £26.92 per hour (PAYE) or £36.00 per hour (Umbrella), along with a 20% shift uplift and the opportunity to earn premium overtime rates. The role follows a double day shift pattern, with alternating weeks of morning and afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday.
