Job Summary:
Computer Technology Support Ltd is looking for Driver Assistants/Porters to join our team in Basingstoke. In this position you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of equipment to customers site. The ideal candidate will be of smart appearance, possess a professional and organized approach whilst completing duties as assigned by management.
Duties:
Safe delivery of goods to customers sites throughout the UK
Safely operate company equipment - training provided
Report any concerns or issues to appropriate supervisor or manager in a timely manner
Complete all required paperwork in a professional manner
Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others
Actively participate in all training sessions to acquire knowledge and skills that are necessary to perform the job effectively
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills:
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to use GPS or other computerized systems to enter job information and job responsibilities accurately
Basic understanding of driving routes
Physically Fit - some heavy lifting will be involved
Ideally have your own transport as varied start/finish times and excellent time keeping is essential
Some nights out may be required
Smart appearance and have the ability to converse and communicate well over the phone and in front of customers
Have a flexible approach to work and changing circumstances sometimes at short notice with a willingness to work extended or unsociable hours
