Summary
Newstaff Employment Services is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional HGV1 Drivers for one of our esteemed clients based in Leighton Buzzard. This temporary role is available for immediate start, perfect for individuals who are ready to hit the ground running in a dynamic driving position.
Role Summary: As an HGV1 Driver, you will be responsible for making timely deliveries and collections across the region. Both Day and Night shifts are available
Key Details:
• Location: Leighton Buzzard
• Hours of Work: Day or night trunking typically around 10-12 hour shift.
• Salary: £17-18 per hour (Paye) dependant on shift
• Contract Type: Temporary, starting immediately. For the right candidate regular ongoing work can become avialable
Responsibilities:
• Safe operation of an HGV1 lorry during shifts.
• Delivery and collection to locations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all transportation laws and regulations.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and that any maintenance issues are reported promptly.
Requirements:
• Valid HGV1 driving license.
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and efficient operations.
