Summary

Join Our Team as a Community Connector!

Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives? We're looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our Recovery & Aftercare team. As a Community Connector, you'll play a crucial role in supporting clients on their journey to independent living.

Location: Various – Countywide across Gloucestershire
Hours: 35 hours per week (to include one evening per week plus one additional evening per month)
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus statutory, 6% employer pension contribution

Your Role:
Bridge the gap between structured treatment and aftercare
Provide compassionate support to help clients overcome obstacles
Develop personalised recovery plans and connect clients to essential services
Facilitate group sessions and community events
Advocate for clients and reduce stigma around addiction and recovery

What We Need:
Experience in substance misuse support and recovery
Strong understanding of recovery capital and safeguarding procedures
Excellent communication and IT skills
A warm, friendly demeanor and a can-do attitude
A car driver with a willingness to travel across Gloucestershire
